Meet

Garrett Moberly is a multi-disciplined artist working primarily in Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Video. While these are his mainstays, he also enjoys working in Freehand Custom Pinstriping, Spray Can Art, Custom Automotive & Motorcycle Graphics, as well as basic drawing with a pencil. Each medium provides a different creative outlet for him. 

Growing up, he was always inspired by art without really knowing it would serve such a important role in his life. He was always looking into various magazines such as car and moto inspired publications and seeing what crazy things were coming out of So Cal. The sleek aesthetic that often accompanies a slick ride, finds its way into his design style, as he prefers a clean minimalist approach for the best appeal and message in the digital and print world. Not just cars and motorcycles though, he was always noticing ad's of various products and how they caught his eye. It wasn't until he started studying design in college to find out why they caught his eye visually and the purpose behind the design style. He learned that design wasn't just art, but had a deeper meaning, which was solving problems and communicating messages with visuals. He was fascinated studying the purposeful design styles of David Carson, Saul Bass, and Stefan Sagmeister to name a few. On the painting side is where things get a little more wild.

Currently, Garrett spends most of his time freelancing graphic design. When he is not behind the computer, he is probably in the garage airbrushing some hot rod flames on a flaked out motorcycle tank. Aside from working, he loves to play guitar, ride motorcycles, spending time outdoors hiking and chasing waterfalls.
